DONATIONS
"When you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
so that your almsgiving may be secret.
And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.”
Matthew 6:3-4

Our Parish offers several opportunities to give alms:

  1. Food for the needy may be dropped off at the Parish Office or before the statue of Mary in the Upper Church or Lower Church.
  2. Money may be donated through our offertory envelope system, directly to the Parish Operating Fund, or the School Trust Fund.
  3. Store gift certificates for Town Plot IGA, ShopRite, Stop & Shop, Big Y, and Macy's may be bought at the Parish Office. Five percent (5%) of your face value certificate and 10% from Macy's are donated back to our School.
  4. Collections at weekend liturgies, Mass and Candle Intentions for memorials of the dearly departed, for the sick and ill, in honor of a Saint, or a variety of other intentions.
  5. You are also invited to memorialize a recently deceased loved one through a monetary gift to our Parish in lieu of flowers at the wake or funeral.

We now accept MasterCard, Visa, and ATM cards for your convenience and to help add to any bonus or point programs you may be enrolled in.

SACRAMENTS

  1. The sacraments are a gift to us from our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a privilege to accept and prepare ourselves for reception. Each Sacrament has a program of instruction and updating in our faith. Please call the Parish Office for more information.

PLEASE NOTE - Our Church is air conditioned and handicapped accessible from the America Street entrance. We are also available to offer Holy Communion to the homebound, sick, and elderly. Families and parishioners new to the parish are asked to please register with the Parish Office.

A Prayer to Our Lady of Mount Carmel
O most beautiful flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven,
Blessed Mother of the Son of God, Immaculate Virgin, assist me in my necessity.
O Star of the Sea, help me and show me that you are my Mother.  O Holy Mary,
Mother of God, Our Lady of the Brown Scapular, I am your child, clothe me with
your own virtues.  Have pity and protect me from all harm.  Lord God, Father of all,
may the prayers of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother and Queen of Carmel,
protect all her children and bring us closer to Jesus Christ, Your Son.
Oh, Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel, pray for us.
