Admission Policy
Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, accepts students of all races and religions, who meet academic and behavioral requirements. However, we give priority to the following order:
1. Catholic Students who are parishioners of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
2. Catholic students who attend a non-school parish.
3. Non-Catholic students.
TUITION 2011-2012
Non-refundable fees for 2011-2012 are as follows:
- $75.00 processing fee for a new family to our School (payment is due at registration)
- $300.00 non-refundable tuition deposit (payment is due at (re)registration)

Every Family has a Home School Association Assessment or Fundraising requirement of $500 per family, not per student. The Home School Association offers several fundraising opportunities to work off the assessment each year. Any assessment balances as of May 1st (not worked off) must be paid in full by June 1st. Payments received after June 1st will be subject to a $25 late fee.
In order to receive a Parishioner’s rate you must be regularly present at weekly Mass and contribute a minimum of $7.50 per week using the Offertory Envelopes. You must also be a parishioner in good standing for at least one year.
Payment Plans
We offer four payment options for your convenience.
- Payment in Full by the start of the school year and there is a 10% discount
- 2 Equal Payments due August 15th and February 15th
- 10 Monthly Payments please add a $75.00 Billing Fee
- 12 Monthly Payments please add a $75.00 Billing Fee
We also offer a Tuition Credit Program
- 10% Discount off tuition if total amount is paid in full by the start of the school year.
- $100 Credit for referring a new student who attends the school for one full school year.
- Any Home School Fundraising above the assessment comes off next year’s tuition.
The estimated cost to educate a child at OLMC for 2011/2012 is $4,800 per child. Because of the support of parishioners, parents, alumni and Fundraisers like Bingo we are able to offer the above Tuition rates. Hot Lunch and Before/After School are optional programs and incur an additional cost, all proceeds from these programs go directly to the school operating budget.

Billing is bi-monthly. The morning session begins at 6:30 AM and ends at the start of school. The afternoon session begins at the dismissal of school and ends promptly at 5:30 PM. An additional charge of $5.00 per child will be assessed for every 15 minutes after 5:30 PM. The program is only open when school is in session. "The Little Saints" program is an extension of the school day, therefore all rules and regulations outlined in the school handbook are applicable.
