At Our lady of Mount Carmel School we carry on a tradition of Catholic education at its finest. Always mindful of our high standards of excellence, we look to the future with the goal of providing a total learning environment based on excellence in educational opportunities and the formation of the Christian community.
This past September we completed a massive $600,000+ upgrading and renovation of the School plant and infrastructure that was started in 2009. Some of the many improvements were replacing all the windows at the school, installing a brand new energy efficient heating system, removing all asbestos, upgrading the school kitchen, installing new floors, a brand new fully stocked state-of the-art Science laboratory, Smart Boards in all class rooms, new equipment for our Pre-K and Kindergarten Programs, and we opened a State-of-the-art Daycare facility on the first floor of our Convent across the street. Our Lady of Mount Carmel now serves students from 6 weeks old thru grade 8.
In the very near future we look forward to kicking off a campaign to expand the school with additional class rooms, A state-of-the-art Drama and Arts Center, and of course a long needed and much deserved Gymnasium for our sports teams. To this end the Church has recently acquired property adjacent to the school.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel School derives its strength from its parents, student body, parish family, administration, faculty, and alumni.
